Take some time to introduce yourself, My name is Tara Babcock and I am a professional model and entrepreneur.
Where are you from? I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington.
What about your nationality and or ethnic origin? I am currently living in the United States and I am of Irish, Welsh and Native American descent. I am a direct descendant of a man who worked on the Mayflower!
And you’re 21 years old, you’re a Scorpio too? I recently turned 21 years old and I am a Scorpio which just so happens to be the HOTTEST zodiac sign, hands down!
What drove you to become a model? I first decided to become a model because I realized that I would not be happy following a normal 9 to 5 lifestyle and that my passion for improving and perfecting myself as well as my business savvy would go hand-in-hand with that career.
So you just woke up one day wanted to become a model and got famous? Was it hard or… It was easy for me to start out in the business and make a name for myself quite quickly. I pretty much just went for it!
Explain to the fans why you should be number one on THE SWEET 16 I feel, honestly, that I am the total package: a pretty face, curvy body, intelligence, style and you’ll never be bored talking to me! I am also an internationally published model and I give totally rockin’ interview answers! I also really, really enjoy meeting and talking to my fans. They are my backbone and I owe so much of my success and happiness to them as well as the other people who have helped me along the way… like the MXySTAFF
What are you looking to do in the near future? I would also like to work with Penthouse, American Curves (for a cover), FHM International and ZOO weekly, to name a few of my newer goals.
What do you do when you’re not posing for a camera? I definitely do not have stereotypical interests. When I am not busy modeling or working on one of my entrepreneurial endeavours I would rather be playing video games than going out and partying. I am also a huge health fanatic, and a vegan. I love working out, and like any girl, shopping! I also love sex! Then again, who doesn’t!?
What’s your favorite body part? My favorite body part would have to be my boobs.
What body part do you get complimented on the most? My eyes and overall facial appearance would be a close second, and I am not a big fan of my butt and thighs, even though it seems to be one of the parts of me that my fans compliment most.
How do you feel about Photoshopped models? I am against photo retouching that drastically changes the model’s overall appearance, face and weight or proportions, but at the same time, I am aware that the photos of a glamour model need a certain amount of lighting fixes, composition work, small imperfection removal and removal of anything distracting in the background as well as an overall professional and glamorous look to the image.
[laughs] you got the lingo down pat…I am actually a photo retoucher myself in my off time and I ALWAYS post before and after references.
That’s interesting, why is it important to do that? I like to show my clients what I look like unedited and I would never misrepresent myself.
What do you do to stay in shape? For me, I get to the gym, eat right
You don’t oppose plastic surgery? I am definitely not opposed to plastic surgery. As statistics show, you are more likely to die in the car ride over than you are to die under the knife. Those statistics are similar to that of taking a flight. Are the nay-sayers also saying models should not travel? I know I travel much more than I have surgeries!
So you have enhanced body parts? What are they? As of now my boobs are enhanced and so are my lips. I have also had a beauty mark on my face removed. One thing that grosses me out, though, is hair extensions. Eeek!
Describe your relationship situation right now? I am single and I am not looking. I prefer to have a few, and I mean select few, close friends to do the coveted “friends with benefits” thing with.I love sex, but I am not looking for any kind of relationship other than friendship and I am also very cautious and always make sure I am safe.
What kind of men are you irresistibly drawn to? Do you focus more on looks, money, social status, charisma, intelligence, or sex appeal? I am interested right now only in appearance.
ok… To me, when someone says their significant other is “beautiful on the inside” I wonder why they are not just friends. Logically, sex is about physical compatibility, friendship is about emotional compatibility, and if you get lucky enough to get both then, and only then, should there be that kind of relationship.
It’s a different kind of way to look at it, but it somehow makes sense… I don’t want to have sex with my unattractive friends just because we have common interest and laugh together… that makes no sense!
What are some of the qualities you look for in men? My perfect guy would be about 6′ with dark features and tanned skin. He would be extremely muscular, like bodybuilder muscular, and make me feel tiny! That is a must! I also like just a bit possessiveness… the, “Hey! That’s MY girl” kind of thing.
What turns you on in men? Masculinity is my biggest turn on and it always helps if I can talk to the person and trust the person so I can really let go during sex. As for the package, I like all kinds! I do prefer a little pain sometimes, though! Hehe! I am also attracted to girls, too!
If you had the choice to date a superhero, who would it be and why? Definitely Superman! That is a no brainer! He’s the hottest!
You’re highly sexual person? I am the most sexual person you will ever meet.
Rate your sex game, If I had to rate my sexual performance I would definitely say I’m a 10.
A perfect 10, describe your perfect 10 to the world? I am a pleaser and nothing is sexier than seeing my hot guy, or girl, go wild! I feel sexy naked, definitely, but I love wearing lacy panties and a small, tight shirt! I also love dressing casual, but revealing. Extra cleavage, legs and fitted Abercrombie clothes make me really happy! I’m not a high heels kind of girl at all. I also don’t wear panties unless I am shooting or walking around the house in nothing but! Heh! I also don’t wear panties unless I am shooting or walking around the house in nothing but! Heh! My favorite positions are reverse Asian cowgirl, missionary with my legs behind my head and doggy style.
Looking at were you are right now in your career what do you feel. Are you happy do you want to do more? I will never be satisfied! I will be working on my resume, portfolio and starting new business ventures until I die…
You want more, Of course I want more! I feel that I have accomplished a lot in these short couple of years, but I will not settle for less than perfection. That doesn’t mean I am not completely grateful and humbled by where I am today! Wow!
What motivates you? What keeps me going is my drive to succeed and the pleasure I get from doing so. Getting to the finish line of that next goal is a must! Aside from that, it’s my fans and friends who help me through any rough patches and who make this really worth it! Thank you!
What is it in how you market yourself that will keep you from fading into oblivion in the years to come? Marketing my brand is a team effort. I have agencies and companies working to get me jobs, as well as accounts on model networking sites like Model Mayhem. I have a webmaster who promotes my travel schedules and site updates as well an internet marketing company who boosts the traffic to my site and handles SEO for Google and many other search engines. There are photographers who submit our work often to publications and I have my fans on social networking sites, numbering in the tens of thousands, who help to and promote me and finally… I have myself. I am working non-stop answering e-mails from my fans and potential clients and submitting myself to many different feature opportunities as well as alerting the public of updates on my site! Whew! It really is a full time job, even when I am not traveling constantly!
Seeing as how there are plenty of beautiful blonde models, what is it about your look and style that distinguishes you from the rest? Unfortunately, the vast majority of “hot blondes” went from Plain Jane to a bottle of bleach, and think they are the hottest things on earth. Too many rely on Photoshop and too many are out partying every night gaining that beer belly. You see a lot of blondes who are trying to be hot, but not so many who really are… and that is just regarding physical appearance! The stereotype that models have no personalities and are bitchy or stupid rings true far too often. I cherish the girls who break out of that shell! Go individuality and humility!
What about yourself? What sets you apart from them? I genuinely care about my fans and career and I am in it full time, working on my brand and business and making sure I never misrepresent and satisfy all of my clients. Also, there are a lot of girls trying to get known, but I had the know-how and pull to actually do it! Look at my results on Google, my resume, testimonials and portfolio! They speak for themselves! Physically, because of my drive for perfection, I spend so much time fixing any imperfections that I am more fine-tuned than most models. You will not see me with fried hair or a bad tan. With me, it’s beyond “hot” or “not”, I actually work on the aesthetic proportions and symmetry of my face and body like it is a science! I believe just looking at me you can see the difference, but if you work with me, you’ll KNOW there’s a difference!
If you had to change a part of yourself? It could be any physical or character flaw you have Right now, physically, I am working on my butt and thighs as well as the little oblique bump on the bridge of my nose. I would also like it to be overall a bit smaller. The way it is now, it is not as photogenic as I’d like. One weird shadow and I look like I have a weird nose! I’m also trying to grow out my hair as long as it used to be. I stopped using conditioner, like an idiot, for a while and I lost a couple inches over the last year! I am trying to lose 5–10 more pounds as well… can never be too skinny!
You have any characteristic flaws? As for my character, I’d like to continue to learn things. I still feel frustrated with math! I am also a procrastinator by nature and I have to force myself sometimes to do things I don’t want! [laughs]
As an individual you come across fears, what is your biggest fear and what did you do to overcome that fear? I am afraid of heights. I do not want to overcome that! The only fears I have can undoubtedly harm me, a little healthy awareness is not a bad thing!
On your way to becoming a model how did you struggle and how did you end up where you are now? I’ve struggled with traveling, as I don’t like to do it! I hate airports, airplane rides, trying to coördinate schedules, finding transportation, dealing with hotel issues, not being at home and comfortable, etc. I do, however, always end up having a good time once I am settled and I get to shoot, work and see my friends!
We also talked about money at some point… People always think, “how can you have money problems when you make so much and are so successful?” My expenses have always risen with my income. I spend more money on marketing; I make more money on my site… stuff like that! It’s expensive to live the way I do and work in the industry I work in, especially in an economy where everyone is trying to scrounge and budget.
You’re definitely a hard working person, My brand wasn’t made overnight and I am not just a heiress or famous for being famous. If I had so much money that I didn’t know what to do with I would donate even more to the Humane Society of the United States and I would start a business or center that would help the world somehow! I am not greedy at all, I just want to be comfortable in life, I’m not into 30 bedroom houses in Bel Air or $15,000 shoes.
What kind of people inspire you and why? I am inspired by beautiful people who’ve made something of themselves. Photographers’ work inspires me as do other models. A few people I could name are Heidi Montag; for her physical transformation… sans the brow lift, Holly Madison; for leaving the Playboy crutch behind and doing her own thing as well as being beautiful, Suzanne Sommers, and Barbara Eden. My best friend and assistant, Jovan, also inspires me daily. He’s amazing! He manages being my assistant at all shoots and events with a BS in Electronics Engineering, a career with Boeing, going to school for an MBA, bodybuilding and just being a kick-ass, sexy as hell dude! It’s very inspiring to know him.
What would you like to have accomplished in 10 years from now? Is there anywhere you’d like to go, any job you’d like to be doing, anyone you’d like to be with?I just want to see myself in 10 years looking like I am still 18! Haha! I also want to be comfortable, happy and satisfied. I want to have 100 times more accomplishments under my belt and I want to have made a difference in animal and environmental welfare. I want to be a legend in the modeling industry and I hope to maintain and grow the Tara Babcock brand!
What do you do as an individual that keeps your spirit up? I just know that no matter what happens things always get better from here and there is no limit to what one can accomplish. I know that being happy and staying positive is a must and that being sad and moping doesn’t fix or overcome anything! I’ve always found stuff to look forward to in life, so that if I am ever down, that will bring me up.
