The “Cosmopolitan Resort & Casino,” opened on Dec. 15, 2010 (on the Las Vegas Strip) and they’re already creating a buzz.

Allegedly, they’re paying Jay-Z a staggering $1 million dollars to perform with Coldplay on New Years Eve.

The Jay-Z package deal includes: A 3 night stay, access to the Marquee nightclub and dayclub, a preview party. A New Year’s Eve brunch at the Wicked Spoon. Dinner for two at the restaurant of your choice and two non-transferable tickets to the live concert (Jay-Z & Coldplay).  This package deal is priced at $5,600 (pre-paid).  Only a few packages are left!

Backstory: (Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve)

Celebrities and high rollers will hire a “VIP” service to guarantee tables and entry (without standing in line) into the hottest clubs and private casino parlors on New Year’s Eve.

If you plan to attend a show and you’re not seated at your table by 11:30 p.m., the hotel will resell your table and you will not receive credit.

The Las Vegas Strip is shut down to all traffic (after 6:00 p.m.) on New Year’s Eve.
