Beyonce and Jay-Z are probably the most recognizable black couple of colour, only behind Will Smith and Jada Pinkett and Barrack Obama and Michelle Obama.

Anything these two do will be scrutinized under a microscope by haters, fans, stans and anything in between, and though the Smith’s divorce has been a rumor in the blogosphere there isn’t anything as overwhelmingly big as Beyonce’s and Jay-Z getting a baby.

It’s understandable - Jay-Z himself is worth $420 Billion while his income pulled in $63 million in 2010, his wife Beyonce on the other hand pulled in more at $87 million. Between them they have sold 75 million albums (by her) and 50 million albums (by him) worldwide. With several individual songs and albums transcending pop culture itself.

That in itself is a legacy that will stand the test of times for generations to come, but no matter how much success these two will achieve going forth we should acknowledge that their true legacy will be their children, and for a couple that has been married since 2008 having a child means a lot for them as individuals and as businesses.

Them having a baby has redefined what they represent, no longer are these two just married anymore they are now proud parents to a healthy baby girl, and wether their baby is real or not (and here we are havily leaning on real) that baby is their true legacy.

Definitely a beautiful way for them to come together as she has Beyonce’s Face and eyes and Jay-Z’s lips which signifies health.
