The 54th Grammys are usually around Valentine’s day and all the men who forced their wives to watch the Superbowl will now be subjected to the awards show.

This year’s Grammys fall on Sunday February 12th – from the outside looking in they just seem like bragging rights for the musicians that win them - by extent such is true – but the true worth of these awards come in dollars and cents.

Though the prices of most of our favorite celebrities aren’t immediately available to the general public it is known to raise the asking price of a celebrity fee for singing, producing, sampling up by as low as 55% the following year all the way up to 150%.

According to Forbes it did just more than raise David Banner’s profile by 100%, it also opened doors for him as a Grammy Award Winning Producer giving him gigs to score commercials and movies.

For Bruno Mars it increased his shows ticket prices by 55%, Jim Jonsin who is resonsible for producing the megahit Lollipop for Lil Wayne saw a 90% increase in his producer fee while country superstar Taylor Swift saw the average gross per show increase to 380%
