I’ll be the first to admit that a company is prone to make a lot of mistakes as they grow along. Especially when its continuously evolving as time passes.

I can write a whole book on the mistakes we have made in the past but nobody likes to hear somebody sob story unless it ends in success. Therefore until the world considers us a success then we have nothing to say.

One such mistake also comes down to the models that we carry. Sometimes they were good for the times, other times they were deleted in time and sometimes we rejected the wrong models and out of those times few of them either correct themselves or correct us.

In the case of Christine Richards I wouldn’t say I rejected her but I was complacent as oppose to vast and decisive. But she was patient and she worked with me, she stayed on top of me and continued to send pictures until we found the right ones for the interview. Its moment like this that reminds me as to why I do this day in and day out and that is because we want to give a platform for sexy women who are dedicated want to shine and give them a chance to speak.

Its women such as her that remind me how beautiful we (as black people) are or can be. Especially when we are hustler minded.

Though I have had several pleasant interviews in the past I have to say that hers is a memorable one and to tap in to my metaphorical self it was almost a guiding light, a bridge if you will, a bridge that allowed us to go through the down times and the complecant times and become aggressively active in our quest to find and deliver you the sexiest women alive.

Her full name is Christine “Bella” Richards, she is from Tampa and in today’s interview we talk about being sexy, sex and religion and sex… as well as other minor things, enjoy

What is your name where are you from? Christine “Bella” Richards, Jamaican born, but raised all over North America (I call Tampa home).

What are you currently doing that is relevant to the general public? I’m currently working on a few TV and commercial projects, as well as a lingerie calendar.

You have appearances coming up, can we know a bit more about them?  Well, I moved into the acting realm a few months ago. I’m working on a few shows right now; one for the Slice Network called “Plastic Makes Perfect” the other for the Men TV network called “Get Real, Get Lucky”.  Both will be aired sometime in June. Get Real, Get Lucky will also have a presence on Facebook, so you can look out for that. I’ve also been working on some reality TV, I’m really excited to have these opportunities… acting is my first love, but modeling is a lot like acting and I enjoy them both.

Define what sexy means to you? Sexy is all about confidence and seduction. The art of seducing someone, getting them excited at the thought of what you could do to them. With them.

When did you realize that you’re sexy?  I think I realized I was sexy when I was in college. In high school I think guys thought I was “cute”. In college, I had more confidence and I think that gave off a naughty, sexy look-at-me kind of vibe. Sometimes you just have to be naughty and get your pleasure and just not care what anyone thinks. That’s sexy.

Are you good at seducing people?  lol. I guess you’d have to ask them. ;)

Explain to the fans why you should be number one on THE SWEET 16 COUNTDOWN  There’s just no one out there like me. I’m that sweet southern girl who would just as soon make you dinner as I would suck your…ear. I’m prim and proper, and girly but I’m also down for whatever whenever. I’m the girl next door that wants you to be a nosey neighbour.

lol, the girl next door always looks innocent but has the most skeletons in her closet. To all the men reading what’s something that’s really naughty about you?  Naughty? Moi? lol.

Looking at where you are right now in your career what do you feel? Are you happy do you want to do more?  My modeling career just started 5 months ago, I’m excited about that. There are so many opportunities out there, and I’m just trying to be in the right place at the right time. I’m absolutely loving my new  acting career as well. I’d like to do more, maybe some commercial work and short films. I’d love to get those opportunities.

How would you go about getting these opportunities?  Umm…I’m thinking that’s what my agent’s job is. Lol. But I also have to get myself out there, get some positive exposure, run into the right people who want to explore my talent. It’s a lot tougher than it looks. But I’m so happy that in this short time, so many opportunities have come my way, it’s just been amazing and a blessing.

In an ideal world what’s one opportunity that would make you feel like you set the bar pretty high? I have a lot of respect for Tyler Perry and everything he’s done. Even though he’s not an international star, his work, and the productions he brings to life are so wonderful. If I got the chance to play a major role in one of his movies, I think that would make me feel like I’ve definitely accomplished something pretty big.

It gets tough out there?  The entertainment industry is really, really tough. You have to love yourself, not take yourself too seriously. Sometimes things are gonna go your way, and sometimes they won’t and that’s still ok.

 I think that the entertainment industry is tough because there are a lot of suspect people out there… Wow. ummm..there are a lot of wannabe producers, publishers, managers. I think that’s been the biggest struggle is weeding through the bullshitters to get to the folks who are real and actually are doing things that can further your career. I had a lot of trouble with people trying to get my goodies in exchange for furthering my career. But they weren’t even in a position to do so. So i just push them aside and keep moving, keep connecting, keep networking and just listen to the advice of people who have already walked my path..

What motivates you? Positive and negative people motivate me. I try to learn from the best in the industry, and just do things with my own style and flare. Haters motivate me because that kind of gives me an idea that I’m on the right track. ;) Being in front of the camera is so much fun, that’s a great motivator. Loving what I do keeps me going even during the not-so-nice times when things aren’t that much fun.

What’s a pet peeve of yours? I hate repeating myself. I listen very closely when I’m spoken to and i expect the same. I can’t stand going over the same thing, like why weren’t you listening the first time? lol

Huh, excuse me you’re going to have to say that again? I didn’t catch that at all, lol. u lookin’ for a slap, huh?

As individual’s we come across many fears what’s yours? Honestly? I fear flying. And I’ve been to the Caribbean, all over North America, and taken so many flights, but every time i do, i just get really anxious. I overcome that fear with a nice glass of red wine.

What’s your kind of wine? I guess I’m a sucker for a good cabernet (sauvignon) Ingleside, Sutter. The Northern California Vineyards are a safe bet.

What type of food goes with your favorite kind of wine? Even though red wine is usually paired with red meat, I don’t eat red meat. So I usually have it with salad and a light pasta.

Is food an aphrodisiac for you? OMG!! YES!!!!!!!

Ok, that’s good to know, do you have others? I absolutely love the thought of a nice nibble as foreplay. :)

Nice, I’ll make sure to note that one down. Any other aphrodisiacs? I can’t give away all my secrets. :P

If someone took you on a date what would be the icing on the cake for you? It really depends on the connection. I think at the end of the date, if we had a connection, just extending that time together would be icing on the cake. But if there’s no connection, it doesn’t really matter what the guy does, it just won’t be well received.

What are your views on LOVE? I think when you are in love it’s a beautiful thing. Nowadays though, love is kind of extinct. People are looking for Mr. and Mrs. Right Now, not Mr. Mrs. Right. Having a purely sexual relationship is great. Its great exercise and if both parties are kewl with it, it’s a beautiful thing. But experiencing love, even once in your lifetime is something so deep and really special.

Which single individual inspires you? Just one?

Yes ma’am…  There are so many. Right now, I’d say Toccara inspires me because she beat the odds, and she’s accomplished so much and she’s where she wants to be despite people writing her off… she stretched her 15 mins of fame into about a few hours.

What do you do in life, when you aren’t in front of the camera? Believe it or not, I’m a registered nurse. I work as a health and wellness consultant. I’m also graduate student, working on my Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Science.

You do have a strong presence about you, what do you spiritually to keep your spirit up? I pray and I say thanks to the creator for giving me another opportunity to experience this thing called life. I do mindless stuff to take my mind off of my stress, and sex is a good de-stressor  :)

Do you think that sex and religion are hand in hand? Like one regulates the other one? It’s weird that people have hang ups about sex, because none of us would be here if two people didn’t get it on. SO, why act like sex is not part of being human? Your spirituality is part of being human. Your sexuality is part of being human. Being religious is great for some folks, not for all, but if you’re religious, it doesn’t mean you are not sexual. Did that answer the question?) lol

Definitely! In your life, how important is sex to you? I have gone back and forth with this. I think sex is great. I have a healthy appetite, but does it RULE my life? no. Does it compliment my life? Yes.

Yea, it’s so true. What you are saying about sex, and it could go in so many directions, sex can be tasteful and or very disgraceful but I guess it’s all up to the person who defines it.
