I think that we are all sexy in our own little way, we just have to believe that we are. The further purpose of MXyMAG.com is to take a sexy woman and go beyond that meaning. Making the world understand that beyond all that sexy, cuts and curves, that we (sexy people) go through the same motions as anybody else. SEXy is not just something you are born with, sexy is something that you learn to become and later on work hard to maintain, SEXy is your SWAGGER. The key ingredient to MXyMAG’s vision is “motivational” while still staying “fun”, “educational” and “entertaining” in presentation.

With that said, I think that there is something insanely motivational, sexy, fun and entertaining about a woman in pink booty shorts and a shiny motorcycle. The combination of the arts just gets the artistic juices that make me a man moving… up.

Our Motor cycle rider goes by Carolina Catalino. She is from the Dominican Republic and currently lives in the Bronx. She has done various videos and magazine spreads. Today she has decided to sit here with us and open up about her life.

When I asked her what separates her from other women she told me that it’s persistency, which is a key to any success story and I have said it many times before and will say this again. Success is a trickster that loves to kick you around before it reveals itself and in any path you choose to hustle in you will need to be kicked down in order to get where you want to be. How long have you been there and what does The Bronx mean to you? I have been living in the Bronx for about 7 years. Living in the BX means a lot to me because it teaches me every day that it doesn’t matter where you come from, what really matters is how hard you work to reach your goals and make your dream come true.

What is SEXy? For me the definition for sexy is someone who is: Erotic, confident, physically attractive, sexually appealing, nice personality and look. I personal realized that I was sexy when I was like 16 years old and I started getting attention everywhere I went all the time.

Explain to the fans why you should be number one on THE SWEET 16 Countdown? I should be number one because I’m beautiful, smart, I have a nice personality and I fight for what I want.

Everyone pretty much says the same things on MXyMAG.com interviews what’s one thing that you think sets you apart from smart, beautiful, personality? I’m very persistent when i really want something, I never give up….

Looking at where you are right now in your career how do you feel? Are you happy? Do you want to do more? well right now I’m doing well with my modeling career, I’ve been featured in different magazines, music videos with the most recent one, “Popularity” by Skyzoo and “i love my money” by Pryme feat. Ron Browz.

You’re building up the brand? I’m trying to get as much exposure as I can I’m also focussing on my acting career. I just filmed an episode for “Good Wives” for CBS. I’m really enjoying what I’m doing but it’s never enough that’s why I don’t stop working and always want more.

At what point do you think you’ll have enough? Do you see yourself retiring? Wow, I like this question and I don’t want anyone to take this answer the wrong way. Retiring is a word that doesn’t fit my vocabulary because I’m very greedy (in a good way). I will always want more and more….

Motivations? My motivation is when I do something and people like it and the appreciate what I did. Also when they recognize that I’m not just a pretty girl, that I’m actually a hard worker…

Hate? I really hate fake people and people who lie to me. I am a very honest person, always speak with the truth no matter what…
As individuals we come across fears, what is your biggest fear? What did you do to overcome that fear? My biggest fear is to trust people because in this business you never know who you can trust and who would stab you in the back. There are so many people that just want to take advantage of you.

Ever been in a situation where someone took advantage of you? How do you deal with that? I actually just got over a situation like that recently and I am already use to that. The best way to deal with that kind of situation is to show that person that you are not stupid and that you don’t let anybody step on you. (that’s when my Dominican blood comes out.lol)

I guess you turn the heat up? lol, Sometimes you have to be very tuff and let them know that they can’t take advantage. You’re the one who controls everything, no matter the situation or who you are dealing with.

On your way to becoming a model how did you struggle? and how did you end up were u are now? On my way to become a model I struggled a lot like in any other career. There are always people who want to put you down, there are a lot of negative influence, but the most important is to be persistent in what you want. You have to keep going and never stop until you reach your goals. Always learn from your mistakes that’s another thing.

Which single individual inspires you and why? My mom is always my inspiration, she raised me and my sisters by herself and worked very hard to give us the best, and she thought me to have respect and love for everybody.

There is always a specific moment that a daughter holds dear in her memory about their mother. I have so many precious moments with mom that I don’t even know how to start. My mommy means everything to me, every time I need her she is there for me. Well one of those precious moment was when I got a surgery at the age of 15 and I was obviously very nervous and scared. My mom was by my side the whole time. When I woke after the procedure the first thing I saw was my mommy very happy because everything went well.

what do you do in life, when you aren’t in front of the camera? My life is always a little crazy when I’m not in front of the cameras. I am an Area Sales Manager full time and between that I’m in the gym… I don’t really get too much time free. I love shopping and spending time by myself but it doesn’t matter how busy I am I always make time to go to church every Sunday.

Spirituality? I’m very spiritual person, I’m sure that God is the only person responsible for what happens in my life. Nothing is possible without him.

Talk about love it can be your first love, lost love, it’s definition, anything that comes to mind… well, all I can say about love is that I’m always in love with life. I’m a little frustrated because the last person I was dating broke my heart but I got over that already. Now I’m more focussed on my career and my job.
