Are We Too Advanced to Fear God?

There are two forms of God that are interpreted by the people as I understand it. The first is presented in the organic form which exists as a means to place a face to the metaphysical form. In time religious constructs gave us newer faces in the forms of prophets, popes and teachers as a means to keep that metaphysical form relatable.

Most people do (or can) not comprehend God beyond this physical form. Most of those people will NOT have the open mind to understand this article and that’s fine, not everyone’s mind is vast enough to handle being unplugged from the Matrix, and in this case that is why religion is needed.

God in the metaphysical form is the second of the two forms. This form is described in the bible as the Holy Spirit. From my understanding God as defined in the metaphysical form is time itself, God is everything that is happening in the past, the present and in the future all at the same time.

Then there are churches and religions, these are gateways that give us better understanding of God by using scriptures as guidance. Religions provide blueprints to better living, according to these religions if we follow the better living as presented in the scriptures we will get eternal life in heaven alongside God. It is at this level where man’s need to impose their ego to manipulate time that causes a rift in communication, (which is why we have 100s of religions today)

The darker side of religion is the business side of it; people overlook the fact that religion is ALSO a business system that had a chance to set up a marketing campaign so (bloody) solid during the dark ages that it transcends time itself, like Vaseline, Q-Tips and Coca Cola today.

Over the past few weeks I had the pleasure to be around two discussions that involved groups of people who all had their point of views but still were graceful enough to be ingredients to a healthy uplifting discussion.

One of the discussions started out on the subject of business and leadership in relation to God. I explained in the conversation that God does not belong in the boardroom when making raw decisions. Us  business men are off God and therefore anchored by the common senses of what God is, but when we are making raw business decisions like firing someone who has to tend to a whole family for the sake of saving the greater picture then it’s about the bottom lines. In the boardroom we business men must have a King Salomon state of mind.

The same conversation also evolved in to another one. An older man started talking about America will crumble because that’s what the bible predicts, and he cites the predictions based on past fallen empires like, Egypt, Rome, and Babylon.

My thing with that is that the empires of yesterday didn’t have corporate systems backing them. The power of America right now as an empire isn’t just limited in its ability to wage war in a bid to preserve the FREEDOM this person is taking for granted. The power of America comes in the corporations that need it to exist as this FREE world in order to ensure their billion dollar eco system to survive (which means jobs and a better economy).

These businesses will not allow for America to crumble (as an empire), just the same way America couldn’t let some of its businesses crumble during the collapse of 2009 – 2010. The economic system of America is completely different than yesterday’s empire.

Also, what he overlooks is the setup of the presidency, even if it is questioned by conspiracy theory fanatics. The president of the free world is only allowed to serve 2 terms, regardless of circumstances. The system is brilliant as it prevents, corruption, stagnation, tyranny and public revolution, which was essentially in most cases the reason for fallen empires, with France and Germany being the last ones that were based on the old model of empire. China is the result of this business model of empire, and in time there will be multiple empires who run the world.

I also pointed out that his use of the bible to justify, truths, facts, personal belief and reality are unjust, that he needs to separate the 4 as if he was that business man and clear up his cloudy judgment and instead offer to split the baby in half to get the answers beneath the lies

The second discussion I decided to sit that one out and just listen in, but one point that was brought up was God was needed yesterday to better govern as he was more so (mis)used by churches as a tool to spread fear amongst the non-knowing during the dark ages, another point brought up in the argument was that we are too advanced to rely on fear of God to be controlled, and it is true on many levels.

No longer can we blame bad weather, death, health, lack of money, and natural disasters on superstitious speculation. We now have, history, scientific knowledge, and facts that explain away most of these things. We are now better equipped to prevent most of these from being as deadly, minimize them or prevent them from occurring all together. We now have Google (pause for dramatic effect)

We have instant communication, information, technology, and science which equips us better with a better perspective on random events. With that said, the fear of the unknown is diminishing and will continue to diminsh as we go along.

As time progresses and we become more Star Trek the power of God and church will continue to diminish and therefore the thinking has to change from fear of God, or more so, fear of death and going to hell to something else.
