Amanda Mandii Has The Magic Numbers

Have you ever been chilling in one place with a bunch of girls and your homeys are there too and everyone is having a good time? Everyone is laughing, eating, drinking, smooth music is playing in the background, lights are dimmed down and it’s about 2 am?

Through it all, out of all the women one particularly stands out. Her body is on point, she is cute, she smiles at you, flirts back with you. Every time you look her in the eyes your juices get flowing? Then all the sudden she gets up and goes to a secluded place and you follow her and at this point she sees that you followed her and you make your move? How many of us have been rejected at this point? Don’t lie. We have all been rejected. The most seasoned players are players because they are trying to make up for that one rejection so it’s ok to admit you’ve been rejected before.

We who have tried have all scored at some point or another, right? Well at least some of us have scored at some point or another, right? Sometimes the score lasts longer and multiplies, the initial sexual encounter happens again and again and in some cases I have witnessed people get married after that. (good for them)

As for the girl who rejected you, do you still remember her? Well, then again the encounter is too short for you to remember but some encounters the girl gets your numbers so mixed up that you remember her for the rest of your life and Amanda has that aura about her, she has the personality to just pull you in her world and make you lose self restraint, censorship and focus then when you’re open she can rewire those numbers to her liking and sometimes, often times she doesn’t even mean to do it intentionally. This is what I mean with cute.

In this interview she kind of touches on it, the rewiring of a man’s ego. We also talk about her career as it is now and her father. What did she do with her father for father’s day? Enjoy the interview!

For anyone who doesn’t know who you are?
For anyone who isn’t quite familiar with who I am, allow my introduce myself.. my name is Amanda Mandii and I am a glamour/urban model that’s building my name in this industry.

How have you been since we did “daddy’s girl”?
I’ve been fantastic, thanks for asking, been grinding & working hard, I actually have a few projects that I’m currently working on as we speak

How are your projects coming along, I remember you do a radio show as well right?
The projects are coming along just great, and yes I did  have a radio show alongside my two co-hosts, but just recently made the decision to leave the show.

Oh shoot, when did this happened?
About 3 months ago due to issues with one of my co-host, we just didn’t fit right together & it was beginning to become impossible to work with one another but when one door closes another one opens up… now I’m hosting a new show.

Exactly do your thing, what’s the new show all about?

The concept of this show is very similar to 106 & park with interviews and a live audience, but we add our own twist, we interview upcoming and established hip hop artist, I’m one of the co-host of the show alongside a celebrity photographer.

Nice, who is the photographer?
The photographer’s name is Donjai, he’s known to work & shoot with a lot of hip hop artist and is currently working with Jim Jones and& a couple of other big named artist.

As a host, what is it that Amanda Mandii brings to a show?
I bring my natural personality to the show, I like to think that I have a great sense of humor so that helps when talking to an audience,

Well you can’t mess with genuine honesty right?
No one wants a boring host with no excitement in their voice or pep in their step… lol, so I’d like to think that I have all that and more, the audience responds well to me and at the end of the day that’s all that really matters… Your audience.

One thing that made me smile about you is when you wrote apologizing to your father, did he read that?
Oh yes! My father means the world to me, we’re extremely close, he’s honestly my best friend.. So I hate when I disappoint him & when he’s upset with me..

This may be a stupid question but, why?
Because it just doesn’t feel right. so the status was dedicated to him, he’s not on Facebook but I’m pretty sure one of my family members who’s friends with me on there delayed the message,

Well if not then the positive energy went out there right?
Plus I called him the next day to talk & apologize.

What did you do for father’s day?
I took my father out to dinner.

I just noticed your status about “favorite rappers” (what can you tell us about that?)
(laughs) I had made a comment on my Facebook status stating “I know the personal measurements of some of your favorite rappers.” It was simply a little inside joke between me and some of my girls, but does have truth to it.

hmmm, what truth?
(laughs) I’m honestly not one to kiss & tell.. Its tacky & not really my style, but there’s honestly nothing to tell.. I’ve been in awkward situations before with some artist.. I remember being in a “well known rapper’s” studio one night with some of my girlfriends just hanging out, I was there because I knew someone who was associated with him and I had stepped out to go to the bathroom then he snuck up behind me and made his way in the bathroom locking the door..

That must’ve came out of nowhere?
I was shocked that someone could be that bold and I asked him what he was doing in here.. His response was, “your sexy and I’ve peeping you all night.” I just laughed and continued to listen to his corny pick up lines..

How did you feel?
I was kinda flattered but not enough to sleep with him… then he hit me with the, “do you know who I am, I’m _____ ” line & the, “any girl would be lucky to f*ck me” that’s when I felt disrespected & left the bathroom… I’m not in the least bit interested in screwing an artist that is not the type of name I want to earn for myself, he’s a cool guy and I still see him from time to time

ok
It’s just weird, now when I do see him since I denied him and I guess he isn’t used to that… I’m sure if I told his name many girls would have said, “you were dumb for not f*cking him, he’s so fine”.

It wasn’t for you?
It just wasn’t for me. That’s just one story for you.. I could go on and on all day about some of the experiences I’ve encountered with some of these artist, athletes, etc. that’s why I made that joke stating I should write a book (laughs).. But I guess that’s just something that comes along with the industry and I’ve accepted that and I’ve learned how to handle it… so when I had made that joke it was just for fun recounting my many memories (laughs)

No names?
lets just say he’s a popular New York based rapper/hip hop artist.. I don’t want to hint too much, because I’m sure there will be people reading this who know me and will know exactly who I’m talking about if I give out hints.

Not even one small one?
I’ll forever remain quiet on this one lol sssssh!

I can imagine a lot of celebrity figures are trying to holler at you right now. Does it get hard filtering waste sometimes? How do you deal with that?
I don’t deal with it, my answer has been no thus far and will continue to be no until I establish myself as more than just a model or video model, I don’t like the term “groupie” and I don’t want to be associated with it at all, or have my name tarnished before I even become anything. I’ve had relations with former Dipset rapper Max B, but many people don’t know that and I believe that’s how it should be, no one else’s business but me, myself & I.

No sex for fame
At the end of the day I want to be able to thank myself, god and those who have stood by me for my success and not some celebrity I was dealing with or screwing because then I won’t feel like I accomplished anything on my own. Many of these girls get into this modeling thing for the wrong reasons and end up losing their selves in the process as well as their self respect… I personally don’t believe in f*cking your way to fame or to the top!

Why is that?
There’s absolutely no talent in that sh*t and it’s played out, so the Karrine Steffans & Kat Stacks out there really need to sit down and stop seeking that negative attention. It’s not cool and no matter how many people praise you at the end of the day you’re still not being respected!

With that said, are there any mistakes you’ve made that you wish you could take back
Of course I’ve made plenty of mistakes as I’m sure we all do, I wouldn’t take any of the mistakes that I’ve made back because I truly do believe that those mistakes have moulded me into the person that I am today, I’m still young and I’m sure I’ll make plenty more mistakes.

Yea, we all screw up over and over
The important thing though is never repeating the same mistake twice.
